Objective:Sewage and filth which the hospital discharged, contain a large number of virus, germs, the worm's ovum and some poisonous harmful substances. It can result in atmosphere, land, water pollution in some degree and even cause a water-borne infectious disease prevalence. This study focus on investigation of hygienic status of hospital sewage and detecting of four enteroviruses, in order to establish a fast and effective monitoring method of detecting four viruses: Coxsackie virus, Echoviruses, Hepatitis A viruses and Rotaviruses. The study will provide useful data on hygienic status of hospital sewage, both treated and untreated. We will also explore new methods of detecting water virus.Methods:Eleven hospitals were selected and sewage from those hospitals was investigated. Items chosen for analysis include the content of general chemicals, animalcule and virus, etc. The compose of various pollutants in the sewage was analyzed, and the effect of three disinfecting methods employed in water purification and disinfection was also investigated.
