| In this paper, four types of rare earth europium organic complex, Eu(DBM)3Phen(DBM: Dibenzoylmethide; Phen: 1,10-phenantronline), Eu(SAL)3Phen(SAL: salicylaldehyde), Eu2(o-Phthalic)34(H2O) and Eu2(o-Phthalic)3(Phen)22(H2O), had been synthesized, their optical and electrical properties were investigated. There into, Eu(DBM)3Phen is the popular red-emitting material of OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode); and the analysis of Eu(SAL)3Phen, Eu2(o-Phthalic)34(H2O) andEu2(o-Phthalic)3(Phen)22(H2O) are the extended research work of rare earth organic complex.Firstly, the synthesis technique, spectrum properties and single-crystal structure of Eu(DBM)3Phen had been analyzed. The good yield was obtained by reasonable adding alkali twice. The luminescence properties are not changed by crystal field action through the analysis of excitation and emission spectra. The dibenzoylmethide participates into the complex as the enolic type. The value of LUMO and HOMO energy level were obtained by the cyclic voltammetry (CV) curve and differential cyclic voltammetry (DCV).
