| Nanoscience and technology is based on the science of making materials at the level of atoms, molecules. It emerged in the 1980s and has been increasingly developed. It not only includes the basic subjects which are made up of observation, analysis and research, but also the preparation, process and synthesis of nanostructure materials. Nanostructure materials exhibit novel physical and chemical properties due to the nanoscale. Core-shell magnetic nanoparticles has been applied in biological field as controlled release support, immobilized enzyme, immunoassay and so on. It was also applied as nanominicrystal magnetic material, nanominicrystal soft magnetic nano-materials, giant magnetic resistance material.Following are the major work of this dissertation:1.Synthesis of silicon dioxide coated cobalt nanoparticles by tetraethyl-orthosilicate hydrolysisThe cobalt nanoparticles prepared by arc plasma method were modified with silane coupling reagent KH-570. CO/SiO2 with core-shell structure nanoparticles were synthesized through hydrolysis of TEOS in ethanolic solution containing pre-modified cobalt nanoparticls. Cobalt nanoparticles are coated with amorphous silica to form spherical particles with a core-shell structure. The size of SiO2 shells is about 10nm. The anti-oxidation ability and property of dispersion increase after coating. Furthermore we discussed the formation princeple of core-shell structure Co/SiO2 nanoparticles.2.
