This paper studied the toxicity effect of Ni, Hg and PCP on Chironomus Larva. Including 24h-LC50and 48 h-LC50, the BCF and the teratogenesis in the mentum and mandibles of Chironomus plumosus Larva were observed. The results of experiment are summarized as follows:The 24h-LC50 of Ni, Hg and PCP to Chironomus plumosus Larva are 5.7g/L, 3.54μg/L,0.11mg/L, respectively ; The 48h-LC50 are 1.4g/L,2.64μg/L, 0.09mg/L, respectively. The results show that the sensitivity of Chironomus plumosus Larva to Ni,Hg and PCP is PCP>Hg>Ni. The endurance of Chironomus plumosus Larva to Ni is higher than to others. The LC50 of Ni reached g/L level, though high concentration of Ni can't bring on the larvas die immediately, it can inhibit the growth of the larvas obviously. The LC50 of Hg to Chironomus Larva is higher than other insects, this may be related with the action mechanism of Hg, to generic insects, such as Dugesia japonica, they have comparatively complicated detoxifcation mechanism, the Hg can destroy the detoxifcation mechanism easily that makes the Dugesia japonica dead. The endurance of Chironomus Larva to Hg is higher than Dugesia japonica because of the scarcity of complicateddetoxifcation mechanism. The 7d-BCF of Chironomus plumosus Larva to Hg of 10μg/L is 430, to Ni of 10mg/L is 176 and to PCP of 0.02mg/L is 30, respectively. The results show that the trend of concentrate effect of Ni, Hg and PCP is Hg>Ni>PCP.Ni, Hg and PCP can produce teratogenesis to the mouthpart of Chironomus plumosus Larva. After 7 days exposed to Hg, the mouthpart of Chironomus...
