Solid-state Synthesis And Characterization Of Zirconia-based Ceramic Materials

Zirconium oxide and its composite oxides have good physical capabilities and chemical properties, Zirconia-based ceramic materials in many aspects of the wider use of high-tech industries, the performance of the material is demanding high. Therefore, technology is being paid attention to developing new preparation. This research comes to develop the preparation technology of oxidizing the ceramic material of zirconia-based from the angle of industrialization and environmental protection and achieved good results.The use of cheap raw materials, simple processes and simple equipment, while in the legal system for a Zirconia-based ceramic materials of valuable hardware, through the precursor decomposition by zirconium oxide ceramic micro base, and on this basis, the use of dry-pressed shaped and without pressure sinter prepared for the implications for sinter explore sintering processes.Regard ZrOCl₂ and Na₂C₂O₄, Ce₂(CO₃)₃, YCl₃ as raw materials, the mechanical equipment, filtration, drying processes and calcine, produced a ceramic zirconium oxide, cerium oxide and yttrium oxide of high purity implications, the granularity of powder with particle size range from 10- 30nm, the dispersion of the powders is good . Yttrium oxide and cerium oxide produced only for the follow-up study done on the basis of feasibility analysis. Pure zirconium oxide super conducting temperature changes accompanying the crystal clear.Regard above material as raw materials , through crystallizing together, mechanical equipment, filtration, drying processes and calcine , produced a Yttria-doped zirconia polycrystal and ceria-zirconia solid solution, the granularity of powder with particle size range from 10- 50nm, the dispersion of the powder is good.
