Currently, the spinning industry have already become the bigger industry inour country, and playing an important role in the national economy. In recent years,some spinning products of domestic all reside the world first on the yield and theproduction abilities. But, the spinning equipments in our country fall behindtechnologically and in production ability. A big part of spinning enterprises dependon the equipments which were import from abroad, because of the property rightproblem and also because we have no advantages in developing spinningequipments, we fall behind in the yielding of spinning industry. These problemsrestrict the developing of spinning industry. Our china has entered the WTO, thecompetition in this realm will be very heated than before. So, it will be verymeaningful to improve the spinning equipments technologically.The development of spinning industry accompanies with the development ofthe industry of synthetic fibre. Along with the development of the industry ofsynthetic fibre, the material source of the spinning is now changed from the naturalfabric such as cotton, hair, hemp , silk and so on to synthetic fibre .It is mainlybecause that synthetic fibre has some good natures and more cheaper than naturalfabric.The tufting carpet occupies the big specific weight in woven carpet. Theweaving principle of tufting carpet followed the principle of sewing machine, usingthe needle tuft the fibre through a piece of cloth. There are two kinds of tuftingcarpet, moquettes and high-low loop pile tufting carpet. Some hooks are used toform high-low loop in yielding high-low loop pile carpet while in yieldingmoquettes some small knives must to be used to cut the loop. The principle in theproduction of moquettes is the same as the production of high-low loop pile carpet.In the process of tufting carpet production some parameters such as the distancebetween every two needles, the height of the loop must be in controlled strictly. Toproduce a beautiful, superb carpet, these parameters must be matched properly. Theproduction of the carpet will go through a series of processes such as drawingfibre,tufting,gluing,cutting and so on. Any problems of each process will affectthe quantity of the end product, so in addition to advanced tufting machine, theimprovements in these technics is an important part to raise the quantity of tuftingcarpet.The control system is the soul of a tufting machine. The control system of themachine we were studied is a typical servo system and any systems all exist thestable problem, the servo system of this tufting machine is no exception. Only aclose-loop system can hardly attain the requirements-quick, precise and steadycontrol. To add a certain adjusting device in a system's loop is a convenient waywhich is often adopted now. Because the parameter regulates conveniently and thecontrol theory is mature, the PID adjusting theory is used widely among theengineering. Each link of the PID, integral part, differential part, proportional partcan be carried out very easily in the electric appliances.In addition to flatness and solidness, the beauty of the color and pattern is veryimportant in a carpet's quantity. So the jacquard is very important to a tuftingmachine. Jacquard system marked the advanced degree of this kind of machine. Inthe history of the tufting carpet, each period appears some jacquard devices and it'sadvanced degree is improved bit by bit. In recent years, along with thedevelopment of technique of PC and micro-electronics, these techniques extend inthe spinning industry make the improvements both in the yielding and quantity ofthe tufting carpet.As to say the principle of this weaving machine, the pattern data of the carpetsaving in the EPROM, these data control the track of the needle's movement underthe coordination of the program.But there exist a problem, namely how to design the pattern and colors of thecarpet, how to change the pattern into the data the tufting machine need. Weprogram an interface with VB6.0 to design the track of the needle as you want.Then program another interface to establish the color of the fibre that will be pulledthrough the needle of the machine. Then another interface will show the picture ofimitating carpet under the condition of such track and such colors. If the effect issatisfied ,then change the end into the data we want.In order to imitate the carpet realistically, we apply a few kinds of imagemanipulation that can help to make the picture resemble to a realistic carpet.The effect of imitating is satisfied. Now this system has already applied in afactory and the product has been sold in market. This studying experience will helpus a lot in studying the same kind of machine in the future.
