In this paper, research is focused on the two aspects, the study on the separation of toluene in model industry flue gas by emulsion liquid membrane, and the study on the electrostatic broken emulsion in emulsion liquid membrane separation.During the study of separation of toluene in the model industry flue gas by emulsion liquid membrane, some operating parameters are investigated, including the concentration of surfactant, the ratio of emulsion and water, the rev of stirrer when emulsion liquid forming as well as the concentration of toluene. When the rev of stirrer was 3000r/min, the ratio of emulsion and water was 1:1, the concentration of surfactant was 4%, the separation of toluene in model industry flue gas by emulsion liquid membrane was successful. The absorptivity decreased remarkably at low concentration of surfactant. In addition, the absorptivity of emulsion liquid is steadier for low concentration gas.The study of the electrostatic broken emulsion in emulsion liquid membrane separation includes the two aspects, demulsion voltage and demulsion time. The results showed that the demulsifier had optimal demulsion voltage and demulsion time. The better oil-water separation results can be obtained when the voltage is set to demulsion critical voltage.
