| The characteristic of our country's energy source is"be rich in coal, be poor in oil, having little gas". Data shows, eighty percents of coal is directly burnt, which contributes to 1900 ton's SO2 exhaust, which has made our country suffered from a economic loss more than ten billions every year. Based on some corresponding experts forecasts, our nation's GDP will keep an increase with 7 percents or even more than that every year in the coming 20 or 30 years, and the population will come to a summit after 30 years. In this 30-year-long time, our energy source would be more and more dependent of import. So, to find another cleanly, high-efficiency energy source has stared us in the face.Under this situation, as a new-type fuel, Dimethyl Ether(DME) stands out, because DME, firstly, can be extensively gained: it can be produced by coal and natural gas. Secondly, can be a good fuel substitute, as civil fuel, DME has similar physical properties with liquefied petroleum gas(LPG), and can completely make use of existing LPG transportation, distribution, store's appliance. Model of gasification in an instance and steady flow equation are quoted to analyze transportation and gasification of DME, rules of transportation and gasification are got.
