The Automatic And Intelligent Reform Of Talysurf 5M Type Surface Roughness Measuring Instrument

This thesis reforms the surface roughness measuring instrument type Talysurf 5M produced by Rank Taylor Hobson Ltd., England to realize automatization and intelligentization, which utilizes touching surface roughness measuring technology, circuit & electronic technology and computer technology synthetically.Aiming at solving the disadvantages of the original instrument that data is processed slowly, printed graphs are inadequate and the manipulation is tedious, the subject designs its latter circuit and the data processing part entirely, which include hardware circuit and software programming. This paper mainly designs the hardware part and completes the data acquisition software programming. Firstly, the general devisal and feasibility analysis of the original instrument reform scheme are presented; Then the hardware structure and design are expatiated, including the principle and structure analysis of sensor, the design of sensor lateral driving circuit, sensor longitudinal driving circuit, sensor signal adjusting circuit, computer I/O control circuit and A/D changing circuit. Meanwhile, the data acquisition of the system is researched, a new high speed and equal interval data acquisition method under Windows 98 operating system is proposed, and the data acquisition software is programmed; The experiment debug method concerning the circuit designed and software is introduced; The system error is analyzed qualitatively. Finally, accuracy of the whole measuring system reformed is tested through experiment calibration.The instrument reformed has higher testing accuracy, friendly operation interface, and the testing procedure is convenient and simple, which can meet the performance of the most new type like product both national and abroad, but it costs little, so it has high performance price ratio.
