The Optimal Research On The Second Flue System Of Zinc Refinery In Shaoguan Smelter

Although the zinc refinery technology has been developed for seventy years, it is a fewer to research mechanism on zinc refinery, it is more to discuss its production. These fewer researches were also aimed at combustion chamber, SiC trays, and condenser in the world. It is very fewer to study the flue system which is connected multiple columns, by which the ability about removal of waste gas from the refinery system is determined, the output of refinery columns is affected, the temperature of combustion chamber is adjusted, the service life of SiC trays is limited. So it is theoretically and realistically significant how to optimize the flue system of the zinc refinery.The condition of the old flue system on the second zinc refinery in Shaoguan Smelter is assayed on base of comparison data of flowing pressure loss measured by apparatus with those calculated on mathematical model. The three designs of flue system which are considered to adopt are discussed in detail by means of optimum model about flue system. The results are shown as:(1)The pressure loss in new flue system should be decreased by 255Pa, and the new system of flue should be adapted to requirements of the productivity in single column from 32t/day to 38t/day and of the most productivity of 450000t per year.(2) After new system of flue is built, the considerable economic benefit, perhaps RMB 0.5 million each year, shall be gained by electricity saving because of closing down tow exhausting fan in the dust collecting system.(3) The problem of on-line maintenance met in old system of flue shall be solved in new system.Because the capacity to remove waste gas in new flue system is largely enhanced, the research has been taken in to increase the productivity of zinc refinery system in Shaoguan Smelter.
