By applying technological mineralogy and modern mineral processing theory and technology, the paper presents effective ways to enhance comprehensive recovery according to the fact of rich associated silver resources at Fankou Mine.Three respects are studied: (1)On technological and mineralogical characters of associated silver and its carrier in mineral processing at Fankou Mine; (2)On flotation parameters like flotation speed, particle size, collectors and inhibitors and modifiers; (3)On statuses of silver recovery in current production such as the effects of separation progresses and distribution of silver.Results indicates that desired co-existed silver resources at Fankou Mine mainly consists in pyrargyrite and leukargyrite, and silver mineral can not be dissociated just by the flotation, thus carrier should be added. Silver recover result relates to lead and zinc production closely, so use mix-flotation technology can get better results.A practicable solution is given after considering mineral particularity, flotation technologies and commercial facts to enhance the comprehensive recovery. Integrate prior-flotation and mix-flotation, pay more attention to grinding particle size and optimize processing progress and proper lime dosage can remarkably enhance the recovery of silver.
