With the development of modern life and technology modern industry is developing quickly. In the same time the problem of resource lacking becomes more obviously and baffles the progress of social economy. So saving resource and protecting environment becomes more and more important. In the industry using water becomes straight water supply to circulatory water supply. And now many scholars are investigating the optimizing function of circulatory cooling-water system, so in the dissertation aiming at the circulatory cooling-water system which belongs to Coke Factory of WuHan Steel Corporation, some investigations are achieved on optimization of industrial circulatory cooling-water systems. The dissertation is made up of the following parts:Chapter 1 elaborates the significance and the status in quo, and gives a brief introduction of the main contents of the dissertation.In chapter 2, simple introduces the parts and sorts of industrial circulatory cooling-water systems. Then aiming at the characteristic of open circulatory cooling-water systems, introduces in the cooling tower which is the most part of circulatory cooling-water systems the elements of water's refrigeration and the sorts of cooling tower. And point out their merits, demerits and using range.In Chapter 3 introduces basal idea and means of optimizing industrial circulatory cooling-water systems. And based mathematic matrix of optimization on this basal idea, and analyze idiographic restriction on circulatory pump, cooling tower and refrigerating machine.In Chapter 4 aiming at the mathematic matrix of optimization which has the characteristic of the Multi-programming, In the dissertation adopts Genetic Algorithm.In Chapter 5 aiming at the idiographic project, researches the idiographic arithmetic in the dissertation. And designs simple software of optimizing industrial circulatory cooling-water systems by using VB and Fortran. And a important conclusion for idiographic project has been got.In Chapter 6, sums up the whole dissertation and looks forward to the further study.
