Electric tools are important products for production and life. Because of the influences of the material, the machining and the assembly, the rotors in rotating often make noises and vibration, shorten the life-span of the product, and even cause dangers, so the rotors in Electric tools must be balanced before assembly.For the time being, the most popular methods used by domestic enterprises for Dynamic Balancing are that: First, the unbalance is measured by the general balancing machine, then the rotor is put on the drill machine for manual balancing cut. Obviously that the accuracy depends on the experience of the worker, thus, the efficiency is low and the machining quality is not good , this technology can't meet the needs of mass-production and high-accuracy machining. Though some foreign companies can provide the automatic balancing machine for this task, however, the machines are very expensive, also, the high initial unbalance of domestic rotors often cause faults with the machines, in a word , they don't adapt to the national conditions of China.From the points above, in this thesis a automatic balancing machine is designed, the detailed scheme and the work done are as follows:1 The soft bearing balancing machine has been designed and made;2 The control and signal processing system centering on PLC, MCU and its peripheral circuit is designed;3 Auto- positioning of rotor after balancing is realized;4 Simulated dynamic balancing has been tested, which shows that the balancing machine has good performance;5 With the help of the task group, the manipulator is designed, to grasp and transfer rotors;6 With the help of the task group ,the clamp is designed to provide platform for rotor machining;7 With the help of the task group ,the cutter is designed.All the mechanical parts and most of electrical parts are designed and realized .the vibration signal can be obtained and processed very well, the grasp and transfer for rotors by manipulator is realized preliminarily. Because of short of time, the action of machining by cutter and the cooperation of all the parts in the system are remained for the following work.
