Following the rapid development of computer technology ,the applications of the mathematics theory are becoming more and more wide. Numerical simulation is developed under this kind of background, the preliminary treatment in the simulation get much concern.because of it's relationship with the precision of the numerical model, And it costs a big part of time in the whole computation process. So the research in the foundation of it become more important so as to improve the efficiency and the precision of numerical simulation.This research is based on the technology of non-tructured mesh generation;with an elevation-based interpolation algorithm is designed to reconstruct the landscape model of the river;and the application of non-structured grid in the finite volume element method .The main aspects of research listed as:(1) Based on the classical Delaunay incremental insertion method,and with a new location way,produced the initial triangulation grid.(2) Integrated with the new refining technology,the initial mesh had been enriched.Because of the proper measure ,the quality of the mesh is good .The principle of concurrent producing and inserting of nodes lead to the effective result.(3)Make use of the Delphi software developing plant,a triangle mesh generating software was developed. This software has the functions of mesh generation and image showing,also could output the text files and image files of result.(4)Two meshing of a real district of Chang jiang river Yi zheng part were produced by the software of this research and the commercial software Gambit.The quality of them were evaluated by a function.Then these 2 mesh were interpolated with a elevation-based algorithm.(5)A simulation based on the Finite Volume method was done,with the two different meshing. The result proved the software's precision and practicability.
