According to the national tenth five magnitude project "Study on Process of Eutrophication in Lake and Eruptive Mechanism of Cyanobacteria Bloom" (2002CB412305) , this paper studies on the effect of hydrometeorological element on the algal growth from April in 2005 to January in 2006 using water in Taihu Lake. The resolutions of the study displayed:(1) On the conditions of the definite temperature, illumination, concentration of nutriments in water, the velocity of flow on 0.30m/s is suited to the algal growth among the velocities in experimentation. When the velocity is higher or lower than 0.30m/s, the algal growth will be restrained. The pertinency is prominent between the velocity and the multiplied speed of alga, showed by the correlative coefficient 0.9016.(2) The quantity of alga is increased in 25℃ and 35℃ on the condition of dynamic water. The multiplied speed of alga is 0.128 when the temperature is 25 ℃, and the multiplied speed of alga 0.216 when the temperature 35 ℃ . Along with the temperature rised, the multiplied speed of alga will be augmented. The temperature of 25℃ is more fit to algal growth.(3) The effect of the velocities on the algal growth by 0.00m/s, 0.10m/s, 0.25m/s> 0.50m/s in 25℃, is similar to the effect in 35℃. The algal growth in 25℃ is better than in 35℃ no matter what change in the velocity. The velocity can bring about the determinate effect on the algal growth, as well as the temperature. Hydrometeorological element affects the algal forming directly or indirectly by means of changing the environmental factors in water, which can alter the subsistence of the alga. So, we can more availably achieve the objective of administering and inhibiting the eutrophication in lake not only by controlling the pollution, but also by altering properly the condition of the hydrometeorology.
