| As a fundamental industrial technology, sheet metal forming has grown a huge economy benefits in recent years, especially with the flourishing of automobile and aircraft industry. But more attention has been paid to some critical techniques, such as how can one deal with the tradition manufacturing style with the quick updating of sheet material, how to adapt the CAE and CAD techniques to the needs of the manufacturer, etc.Considering the complex of geometric feature and difficulty of the process simulation, the drawing part design is also quite complex. Generally, the CAD model of the drawing part for NC programming is constructed in CAD system so as to ensure the smoothness and accuracy. Mostly this design is finished by hands with the character of low efficiency and person depending, but the geometry data of drawing part generated in FEA system is just for the purposes of simulation and formability evaluation.This research work deals with the developing of integrated system in UG environment, it covers two basic modulus: one is digitalization of stamping technique, mainly involves die-lock area searching, stamping direction adjusting, formability evaluating by section curve, and the other is preprocess, in which the mesh is generated and transferred to the required format. The dynamic solver module and postprocess module are also integrated to build a simple stamping process digitalization platform. With further development, the drawing part model designing, mesh generating, the stamping process analyzing and analysis results evaluating can be finished in this platform. In the final of this paper, several cases studies have presented to show the functions of the integrated system. |
