| The identical fiber Bragg grating technology and distributed test technology are discussed in detail in this paper.Now fiber Bragg grating are found numerous applications in the temperature and stress measurement , but there are lots of problems appear when it is used to do some real-time test in Petrochemical tank and tower. The main reasons are : many (usually more than 30 ) probes are needed in the Petrochemical tank and tower ,but the traditional FBG temperature sensor can only have less than 20 probes because the limit of the bandwidth and others;at the same time the FBG temperature sensor have higher requirement to the modulate and demodulate system, and this is a big hurdle to the practical application.Aim to solve these problems, through numerous experiments and researches ,a fire alarming system satisfied the practical need of Petrochemical tank and tower are introduced in this paper . The main work of this paper includes:1 The identical fiber Bragg grating technology are first introduced and successfully applied in the fire alarming system . Many experiments and practical test have done and get satisfied result.2 WDM and identical fiber Bragg grating technology multiplexing is mentioned in this paper ,and it successfully applied in the fire alarming system .3 Lots of analyses and research have been done to the demodulate system ,such as the Multi-Channel Parallel technology , analysis technology of synchronous scanning wavelength and the technology of composite angle tuning.4 According to the Petrochemical tank and tower fire alarming system ,we get many practical cases, through these cases we can understand the characters of the fire alarming system ,and it's advantage. |
