The thin-walled irregular tube bending form which has remarkable economic and social efficiency is tube processing craft, as well as which is complicated technological process that involves many factors. In view of the deformity of low surface quality of transformer radiator tube during practical punching, the paper studies the bending form mechanics model of transformer radiator tube, analyzes the reason of wrinkle. The method of FEM numerical simulation is adopted to analyze the bending form process of transformer radiator tube. The stress and strain distributed rule of bending form process is studied and the basic reason of wrinkle is founded. The simulation result of pro and con approach punching is contrasted and analyzed and the better bending form plan is founded, as a result the bending form quality of transformer radiator tube is bettered. The effect which varied speed has on the quality of bending form is simulated and the better plan of bending form quality is suggested through cosine speed curve punching. The wrinkle experiment of improving mold structure, the bending form experiment of improved mold structure and springback experiment are performed, which prove that FEM simulation analysis model is right and effective.
