In many application areas, it is the basic requirement for orienting the object. There are so many equipments meet the need of its application, including the pioneer compass, directory vehicle astronomy navigation, and the guiding system using inertia sets. The range of its application is continuously expanding. There are two methods to measure the orientation: one is simple and direct. The comparative distance between the two points can be measured and the baseline and the orientation can be obtained through easily calculations;another method is compared complicated. The data from many GPS receivers first are obtained, and then calculate the data with difference method, so that then errors can be originally eliminated. Finally the orientation of object can be measured.It is newly used area to measuring the attitude determination in using GPS, its development is quite good. In our country, many people are doing this research and its application will be widely used through the development of technology. Two signal frequency GPS were used in this dissertation, they are very suitable for theory research. Two GPS antennae were installed to the object. The distance between the two GPS antennae is called the baseline, from which two attitude angles can be confirmed.Experiments results show that output rate of 1Hz, yaw accuracy about 0.1 degrees and pitch accuracy about 0.22 degrees can be achieved under two meter baseline length.
