Aquatic ecosystem rehabilitation and restablishment have received more and more attention nationally in water environment field of China. Prevenient research shows the revegetation of submerged macrophytes is the base for water ecosystem rehabilition. As the main primary producer of aquatic ecosystem, submerged macrophyte is the base to mentain biodiversity of water-bodies. This kind of macrophytes provide food, site and other necessary conditions to build the complicated food chain, it also sustain camivorous and detritus food chain indirectly as well, by adding ecological space, restraining biotic and abiotic suspend substance, and improveing environmental factors such as the light intensity and dissolved oxygen.Because water were improved by submerged macrophyte was based on nicer growth of submerged macrophyte, Study on the condign circumstance of submerged macrophyte growth was very important. The primary factors of affecting submerged macrophyte were light, water and sediment. The characters of sediment affect enormously growth and physiology of submerged macrophyte, because sediment was bedrock of the root of submerged macrophyte and was source of subemerged macrophyte needful nutrition. The main work in the thesis was summarized as follows:1, Study on the relation between chemic character of Tai lake sediment and submerged macrophyte. The root active of Vallisneria natans L in the bloom and the relation between the root active and chemic character of sediment were known.2, Study on the effect ammonia-nitrogen, nitrate- nitrogen of sediment to growth of submerged macrophyte. The concentrations of ammonia-nitrogen, nitrate- nitrogen restraining the growth of submerged macrophyte were known.3, Study on the effect particle composition, bulk to growth of submerged macrophyte. particle composition, bulk of the better growth of submerged macrophyte were known.
