As poisonous and complicated of chemical composition of printing and dying wastewater, the degradation and treatment of them is a very difficult problem in the field of them wastewater treatment. Photocatalytic oxidation of water contaminants with semiconductors has been reported as one of more promising remediation technologies for complete mineralization of undesirable orgnic contaminants, particularly toxic and unbiodegradable organic compounds. TiO2 has been showen to be an excellent photocatalyst owing to its stable chemical characteristics and low price,etc. TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation changes from suspend estate to fixation estate. For fixed TiO2 can easily been separated with depurated object, and been reused, so it has more practicly application value. At present, the kinds of carrier for TiO2 are although plenty, but they all have advantages ang disadvantages. So this leads their application coming in for limitation. In order to improve the photocatalytic activity, seek ask for perfect carrier, this thesis studies the preparation method of loaded type TiO2 photocatalyst , moreover uses dye X-3B as model reactant, evaluates the photocatalytic acivity of TiO2, tokens this photocatalyst. 1. Preparation of photocatalyst TiO2/floatstone photocatalyst was prepared by Sol-gel-immertion method. 2. Photocatalytic oxidation degradation experiments The photocatalytic activity of TiO2/floatstone was evaluated by the photodegradation of Dye X-3B,and the effects of various conditions on the photocatalytic characteristics were investigated. The structure and morphology of catalysts were characterized by XRD and TEM.
