With development of economy all over the world, petroleum industry become very important part in it. During the exploitation of petroleum, oil contaminant and oily waste water make for environmental contamination to some extent, even threaten people's health. This thesis research oil contaminant transport by experimental simulation. Based on soil character and contamination of experimental area, longitudinal transport can be known by experiments indoor, and horizontal transport can be also known by experiments outdoor. Integrated experimental experimental results show petroleum contaminant transport in soil based upon qualitative and quantitative analysis. This experimentation is feasible and applicable by contrast with bypast experiments. In this research, some problems were found and solved ,and some suggestions were given about improving experimental tester. This research show the principal part of petroleum contaminant indwell upper soil deep 0-30cm. The contamination can harm to the vegetation, volatilizable light hydrocarbon harm animals and even human being. With the increase of deepness, contaminant context decrease gradually in soil. In soil deep 50-70cm, contaminant context be almost equal to background value. With the protection of clay unsaturated zone deep l-3m, groundwater system can't be generally contaminated. This research used a new experimentation realizing petroleum contaminant transport and offer credible gist for petroleum contamination's prevention and cure.
