This paper expounds the reaction mechanism of electroless Ni-P plating and electroless Ni-P-PTFE composite plating, in addition, analyses the thermodynamics condition of electroless plating reaction. In this paper, the pretreatment technology of substrate material and electroless plating solution are studied. In the process of electroless composite plating, a sort of cation surfactant FC are used. In this paper, the influence regular of technology factors such as PTFE particles content in the solution, solution temperature, agitate speed, surfactant content, and pH etc on the particles content in Ni-P-PTFE composite plating layer are studied. The influences regular of technology factors on the property of composite plating layer are studied, too. The micrograph,microstructure, composition and properties of the electroless Ni-P-PTFE composite plating are studied with the help of analytical instrument, such as optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, energy disperse spectrum, microhardness tester, and so on. The post treatments of electroless composite samples are process with heat treating furnace. The experiment of plating layer' prevent fouling property are processed with the equipment of self manufactured which can heat up the water circularly. The influence law of technology factors on the adhesion and microhardness of composite plating layer are analyzed,and then the change regular of adhesion and microhardness of composite after heat treatment plating layer are studied. At last the property and mechanism of prevent fouling are researched primarily. The result of experiment research and theory analyze show that the PTFE particles which treated by surfactant can be dispersed into the solution equably. The electroless composite layers with 48%Vol PTFE particles can be get with properly intensity agitate. The best technology conditions are as follows: the content of PTFE particles in the solution equals 17ml/L, the solution's temperature equals 85℃, the content of surfactant equals 1g/L, pH equals 6, the agitate speed equals 400r/min. The results of relative experiment show that the electroless Ni-P-PTFE composite plating layer has better property of prevent fouling. In a word, a electroless composite plating layer with high PTFE particles content(48%Vol) can be gained by control and adjust the technology factors, and the electroless composite plating layer has better property of prevent fouling.
