| China has been the main country that produce coke in the world, the oven-gas which produced from the coking can be used as high quality carbon and hydrogen resource and industrial raw material. The comprehensive utilization of coal-gas will benefits in resource and the environment pollution, furthermore, it also can ensure energy sources accommodation, meet the need of the sustainable economic development. Recently, Key lab of coal Sci. and Tech. has put forward "clean coking industry park" and "New-poly generation base on coal pyrolysis and gasification" . On the basis of this background, a new process of reforming oven gas tosyngas was proposed.The research use a certain ratio of CH4/CO2/H2O simulating oven-gas, the experiment was taken in a Plug Flow Reactor (PFR) from 800 to 1250°C. The experiment include the reaction of methane decomposition. CH4/CO2 reforming. CH4/H2O reforming and CH4/CO2/H2O reforming in empty tube and in the tube which is filled with coke. The effect of temperature and resident time to the conversion of methane was investigated. The outlet gas was analyzed by Gas Chromatogram, the coke was analyzed with " element analyzer" and " specific surface area analyzer" . The research indicate:(1) In the reaction of non-catalyst methane reforming, the conversion rate of methane in the reaction of methane decomposition. CH4/CO2 reforming. CH4/H2O reforming and CH4/CO2/H2O reforming is almost equal. First, the methane was decomposed and produced carbon and H2, then, the carbon was gasified by CO2/H2O and produced CO and H2. The coke can accelerate the conversion of methane and has catalysis to the reaction of CH4/CO2 and CH4/H2O reforming. If the amount of CH4/CO2 is excessive, the gasification reaction of cokeand CO2/H2O will happen.(2) In the reaction of CH4/H2O and CH4/CO2 reforming, the reaction of water gas shift will happen simultaneity because of the exist of H2O and the component of production gas will be changed. In lower temperature, the water gas shift reaction has the trend of reduce the content of CO and increase the content of H2 in the production gas. Using the character of water gas shift reaction, the ratio of H/C can be adjusted with changing the ratio of H2O/CO2 in the material gas.(3) The kinetics study of methane decomposition in empty tube and in the tube which is filled with coke, reveals that the activation energy of methane decomposition decreased because of the exist of coke, but the mechanism is still intangibly.(4) The result of coke element analysis indicate that the content of S> N in the coke decreased sharply after the reaction .(5) The result of " specific surface area analysis" indicate that the radius of pore and the surface area of the coke decreased sharply after the reaction of methane decomposition and the CH4/CO2 reforming. And itincreased sharply after the reaction of CH4/CO2 reforming and CH4/CO2/H2O reforming.(6) The reason of the coke catalysis to the methane conversion is the atoms of Sn N and the oxygenous functional group in the coke can provide active sites to the methane conversion and can accelerate methane conversion. The micro-pore on the surface of the coke can act as actived reaction area for gas-solid reaction , can increase the collision probability of methane molecule and accelerate the methane conversion. |
