Along with the rapid develop of the punch technology, and the expands of the range of the application of modern times, many parts pressed with the thick blank. This can not only ensure the intension and the rigidity of the parts, but also can heighten the life-span of the parts, heighten the working productivity, then consequently depressed the cost of the produce. So, by way of the primary evolutive direction, the technology of the Blanking of the thick blank is coming to front more and more now. But because of the bad condition of the punch received during the blanking, variety factors during the process during it's design, making and using, can lead the punch bending, moldering, breaking, and even abrasion to make the life-span of the die depressing. Further more, the life-span of the die is a important guide line which can scale the technology of the die and the level of the economy. One of the important content of our country's industrial development is to develop the new structure of the die, new technics, new materials, and energetically increase the life-span of the die. On the other hand, the product of the blanking, it's quality is very bad, especially the surface of the cutting is ragged, the precision of the size and the figure were very low, and for the parts whose figure were complex, it can not produce now. On the base of synthesis consult and digest absorb a great deal of overseas and domestic literature information, investigate the forming process of the thick blank cutting. First, analyse the thick blank cutting process and the forming rule, indicate the influences of the thick blank cutting process, and investigate the thickness and the clearance forming capability. Then, simply introduce the finite element theory foundation of computer simulation technology, analyse and sum up the application trait and function of the volume forming simulation software—Deform. Thirdly, by using the dynamic explicit finite element simulation software –Deform 2D, analyse the stress and the strain, process of forming. Afterwards, by using the Deform 3D, analyse the thickness,clearance, and the radius of the blade, and elicit their infection disciplinarian curve. point out their loading relationship, and elicit optimal loading curve.Lastly, discuss the technology of the thick blank cutting, Aiming at the characteristic and request of the thick blank cutting, design the forming die. And aim at how to decrease the pressing force and improve the life-span of the die, put the Essential of it's punch design forward. The analysis method and the conclusion in this paper can fulfil the manufacturing requirement , and has universal guide and reference means to the continual application of investigation and generalization .
