The color-projection waste solution consists of waste fixing solution and waste developing solution in which there is noble metal silver and some organic such as boric acid, hydroquinol, bromides. It will do harm to soil, water and human being's health if not stored properly or discharged casually.ln this thesis, different disposal methods are developed, based on the differences in characters and componentstment.First of all, the wasted developing solution was treated with the self-regulating compound of flocculation and ion exchange resin. The effects of coagulating aids and stirring time on the wasted developing solution were investigated in the stage of flocculating. In the phase of adsorption, the static and dynamic methods were used. The relationship between the mixing ratio of negative and positive resin, the purifing efficiency and the flowing velocity was discussed. Dynamic ion exchange rasin was used to make some parameters such as chroma, pH, COD get to the third level of the national effluent standard.Secondly , after systematically representing the theory of electrodeposition, the wasted fixing solution was treated in a recirculating electrolytic recovery system with carbon fiber electrode. The current efficiency was improved by controlling cathode recovery voltage to suppress secondary reaction in the eletrolysis process. The concentration of silver was below 0.1mg/L in the residual solution after treatment. Using cathode calcining, the purity of silver was over 99%.Thirdly, the waste fixing solution was treated by the method of ion exchanged. The Ag-resin was prepared by exterior deoxidize from the resin which had been used to treat the waste fixing solution, and the images of which were characterized by SEM. The application of Ag-resin to disinfection was studied. After extracting silver, the fixing solution's performance could be recovered by purification and recompounding. Usingthe recovered fixing solution used to develop films, photos could get the same results compared with the fresh fixing solution in image definition and color density. At last, the optimizing designs of electrolysis adorption and deposit adorption are introduced by discussing and analyzing the treatment methods combining with current research.
