Chinese Conceptual Furniture Creative Design

Modern Chinese style furniture research and development is important for sustainable development of Chinese furniture industry, which is growing fast. Modern Chinese furniture industry has the obvious advantages of big gross, fast growth and disadvantages of low quality, less design patents and low culture content due to the slow research and development in Chinese conceptual furniture creative design. And the main reason is unreasonable systematic study and inefficient design technique.This project focuses on creating systematic and efficient technique for Chinese conceptual furniture creative design in the frame of system design method. After analyzing the content and application of conceptual furniture, it drew out the basic theory and main factors of conceptual furniture design. According to the main factors, it created systematic method and technique after comparing study with traditional design method. It includes creative decomposition, information coding, database aid design(DAD) , design factor recombination, application of creative thinking and technique.
