Using the development of 3-D exhibition system about bedchamber furniture based on OpenGL, the customer can attend to design before production; at the same time get the result in the environment of different indoors. Adding experienceable selling and customize selling to furniture selling, that contain for consumer's personaldesires. This thesis studies development of 3-D exhibition system about bedchamber furniture based on OpenGL in Delphi. Open GL (Open Graphics Library) as a complete standard of 3D graphics, had been applied widely to visible technology, body sculpt, CAD/CAM, simulation and emulators etc. With the 3-D exhibition system about bedchamber furniture based on OpenGL, the customer can attend to design before production, and the enterprise have the facility in designing, producing and selling. Because of using Microsoft Windows Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and the reusable flexibility of complete face to the object procedure the language in Delphi, this system has the function of Person-computer alternation, and realizes the design principle of "base on people".using the simple light of Open GL to shine on the model even the ray follow and it can realize the furniture illumination; using the Open GL red, green and blue color mode or color index definition, combining to shine on with light to design quality of the common definition furniture; it can realizes 3-D cartoon function That the consumer can get the all feeling of vision and touch ect.The furniture decision programs using Open GL, stand out solid impression of furniture and the rendering, and its rendering is more vivid and rapider than the one in 3DSMAX; the sculpt of furniture is more realistic than the one in AutoCAD .
