In this dissertation, studies on novel partial-conjugated hyperbranched polymers and liner polymers with different structures are presented.A novel series of partial-conjugated partial-conjugated hyperbranched polymers has been designed and easily synthesized from A2+B3 monomers, employing distrylbenzene, a oligomer of poly(p-phenylene vinylene) with high fluorescence quantum yield, as one of starting materials.; in order to compare them with linear polymer, we also synthesized a couple of linear polymers containing alternative PEO segments and segments on the backbone; some small molecular model have been synthesized too.All the materials were characterized by Fourier Transform Infra-red spectroscopy (FT-IR), Proton Nuclear Magnetism Resonance (1H-NMR), Elemental Analysis, electrochemistry analysis , Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), fluorescence spectroscopy, Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry(DSC). Their luminescence properties...
