| Epoxy resins have been widely used as adhesives and matrix resin in composites. With the development of high technology, higher and higher request is put forward to the epoxy resin. So the enormous efforts have been made to study epoxy resins.This thesis bases on synthesizing a novel bisphenol containing double bond,and synthesizing a novel epoxy by this bisphenol.3,3-di(4-hydroxyphenyl)propylene was synthesized from phenol and acraldehyde in the presence of heteropolyacid PW12 as catalyst and thioglycolic acid as co-catalyst. The influences of molar ratio of phenol to acraldehyde, reaction temperature and time, amount of catalyst and cocatalyst dosage on the condensation reaction were studied by using orthogonaltest design method. The yield of the 3,3-di(4-hydroxyphenyl)propylene for acraldehyde is up to 53%under the optimum reaction conditions: molar ratio phenol/acraldehyde is at 7 : 1, the dosage of heteropolyacid catalyst is 0.5%, the dosage of assistant... |
