Layered double hydroxides are a kind of two dimensional layered materials, represented typically by the hydrotalcite Mg6Al2(OH)164H2O. hydrotalcite-like Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) with different formation can be obtained, when Mg2+, Al3+ and CO32- are substituted by other cations or anions. Influence by build bond rule, the minimum crstal lattice energy and crstal lattice orientation of main layer, the metal cations in the layers are arranged in the layers equably, namely every minute unions in the layers have same chemical constitution and structure. In this paper, we bring forward a proposition that we can obtained new solid base catalyst through calcined hydrotalcite which contain Ca, Cu, Co in layer and interstitial anions. On the basis of hydrotalcite's unique structure, a serious of MgCaAlLDHs, CaAlLDHs layered double hydroxides are obtained by the coprecipitation method, and then we systemically studied its preparation and thermal stability. We found that the overall base sites and basic property of calcined products are...
