The environmental pollution is one of the severe problems faced from the globe. In our country the amount of the mine tailing is reached 5 billion tons, and increase with the speed of 2-3 hundred million annually. These solid tailing discards caused the severe harm to the social, economy and environment, for the improper treatment, and bring a lot of project disasters, resource waste, water contamination, vegetation destroy, land degradation, desertification and such severe problems. Especially the heavy metals in the lead and zinc tailing can find their way that into the environment by leaching, weathering and oxidation, thus can bring the serious environmental problems. So the leaching of the mine tailing and different speciation of heavy metals in soil and mine tailing is researched.On the base of the accurate measure of the lead and zinc mine tailing, it has been found that in the mine tailing, the concentration of lead is the highest, after that is zinc, copper, arsenic and mercury. For the mine tailing, the fine grain is the most serous contamination, then is the middling grain, the last is the biggest.Leaching the mine tailing by three kinds of acids for the first time. We can now draw the conclusion that the different acids have got different results. It is compared the concentration of the leaching the lead and zinc mine tailing by hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and nitric acids. For the same pH value, the zinc can enter into the environment easiest than the other heavy metals. In the leaching test of the different of the granularity, the mesh is bigger; the concentration of the heavy metal is higher. The concentration of the heavy metal is higher by shaking.
