The Synthesize Of Rosinoyl Amino Acid And The Properties Study

Rosin, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, sarcosine and leucine are used as main raw materials, four kinds of Rosinoyl amino acid was synthesized respectively in this paper.The first step is the reaction of rosin with PCl₃ at 70D for 3h to abtain rosinoyl chloride, it will get the highest yield when the molar ratio of rosin to PCl₃ is 1:0.5. And the structure of rosinoyl chloride was analysed.The second step is condensation of rosinoyl chloride with amino acid in aqueous acetone. And the effects of neutralization reagent,the pH of reaction, reaction time,reaction temperature,the molar ratio of rosinoyl chloride to amino acid, the volume ratio of acetone to water and the value of acidification pH on the yield of rosinoyl amino acid were discussed in this paper.In addition,the optimum synthetic conditions were identified by the orthogonal experiments and the structures were analysed.At last, the physicochemical properties such as surface tention, the critical micelle concentration(CMC), foaming power, the ability of anti-hard-water, emulsification ability and the pH and HLB have been measured in this paper. The results were showed as follows:the surface tention of all these sodium rosinoyl amino acid are under 40mN/m, and the foaming powers are as good as or close to K₁₂'s, the abilities of anti-hard-water, and the emulsification abilities are as good as or superior to K₁₂'s;the value of pH is stable in spite of the concentration of solution changed. All these results showed these products are good surfactants.It's the first time the synthetic condictions of rosinoyl amino acid were full studied, and the rosinoyl aspartic acid and the rosinoyl leucine haven't been reported before. It's also the first time the physicochemical properties of rosinoyl amino acid were determined all-sided.
