| Polymer/Layered Silicate Nano-composites(PLS) has attracted much attention in recent years and lots of achievements have been reported。Since the end of the 1980s, Okada reported PA6/ Layered Silicate Nano-composites for the first time, it immediately attractted the attention of researchers of the world ,because of it's outstanding capabilities 。At present , the hot sport of the research is polymer/montmorillonite(MMT) nano-composites 。The study of polymer/ vermiculite nano-composites was less than MMT's,so the polymer/vermiculite nano-composites play an important role in science and technical applications。This dissertatoin is composed of two parts. In the first part,vermiculites was treated by acid leaching+calcinning+Na exchanging to obtain a modified vermiculite with lower layer charge。The original vermiculite and modified vermiculite were then intercalated with HDTMAB。X-ray powder diffraction indicated that the arrangements of HDTMAB in the interlayer region of original vermiculite and modified vermiculite are different。 In the second part,epoxy resin/vermiculite nano-composites was prepared with the modified vermiculite 。The prepared epoxy resin/vermiculite nano-composites was characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and transmission electron microscope。Results indicated that preparation method and the content of curing agent influence the preparation and property of epoxy resin/vermiculite nano-composites。The exfoliation of vermiculite in epoxy resin was essential for better properties of the nan-composites。When the content of vermiculite was about 3wt%,the impact strength increased about 91%,the flexural strength increased about 36%,compared to that of pure epoxy resin。... |
