| This paper proposes a new technique for the recovery and regeneration of Rh catalyst for hydroformylation used in butanol and alcohol commercial unit in Daqing Petrochemical Company. Firstly, we discuss the Rh catalyst deactivation mechanism on theory and show the factors effecting the catalyst active, then we study the recovery process which includes following procedures: calcination, dissolution, electrolytic recovery, acid washing, drying and Rh powder. We also examine the effects of the amount of additive, incinerating temperature, dissolving time, the amount of solvent, and process conditions on recover rate of Rh. On the optimistic process condition, the recover rate of Rh is above 95% and the purity of recovered Rh is above 99.5%. At last, we discuss the regeneration process which consists of following three stages: (1)preparation of RhCl3 ·3H2O;(2) preparation of Rh(C5H7O2)(CO)2 ;(3) preparation of Rh(C5H7O2)(PPh3)(CO). At present, the conversion of the first stage is above 99.5% and per pass conversion of the last stage is above 60%. |
