| With the development of computer and network techniques, modern CAD techniques is tend to networking, integrating and intelligentizing. Under this developing background, new requirements are brought forward to computer aided design for die-casting die. Therefore, the research on principle and application system of remote cooperative design based web technology for die-casting die and developing the sytem of digital design and resource integration for die-casting die takes on significant action for improving the efficiency and quality of its design.According to the demand of developing the digital design and resource integration system for die-casting die. Principle of cooperative design and key technologies of the system are discussed detaildly.The main content and products in this paper are described as follows:(1) Based on analysis of die-casting die's characteristics, the whole blueprint of the remote cooperative design system on Internet for die-casting die is put forward, which aim is supplying remote resource services for die-casting die design in the whole design period. The main functional modles of the system are data base, which is used for analyzing, searching, transferring and downloading the design data by customer, die-casting die's calculating modle, which can run directly and normally on internet, and remote parametric design system for die-casting die,etc.(2) The digital design and resource integration system for die-casting die is consisted of digital design software and remote cooperative design system on Internet for die-casting die. After analyzing of the system's whole framework and its functional modules, the system is constructed on J2EE architecture and platform, which is consisted of WIN2000, Weblogic8.0 and SqlServer2000. Otherwise, the key technologies, such as EJB, CORBA, Applet, VRML, Parametric design, are discussed detailedly.(3) The developing methods for remote cooperative design system based on J2EE architecture are dissertated.owing the system is a distributed one, the distributed component technology is imported, and the main three distributed components are compared and analysed. Then, combined with the distributed and isomerous characters, the system is constructed by the form of J2EE and CORBA. At last, design pattern of the system and integrate solution for J2EE and CORBA are discussed detailedly, so it supplied a good solution for legacy system integration.(4) The remote parametric design technology based on SolidWorks is analyzed and researched deeplyin in this paper, according to characteristics and demands of the remote parametric design, a new method of adapting and encapsulating drawing program in CORBA component and saving the die-parts dimensions in database is used in developing remote parametric design system, which is a redeveloping system based on 3-dimension design software, such as SolidWorks. The redeveloping technology of 3-dimension design software is emphasized in this paper. According to principle and arithmetic of component separation, the parametric design system was separated into many CORBA components. And the development of CORBA component based on J2EE architecture are discussed, making moulding board drawing as an example, which includes development of program in server place, interface program and program in client place.(5) The general functions and runnale instance of the system are introduced detailedly in form of chart and character.
