In recent years, the design and synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid compounds are of great interest owing to not only their intriguing structural frameworks but also potential applications in catalysis, medicine and materials etc. In this thesis, ten novel polyoxometalates (1-10) and one correlative complex (11) have been synthesized on the basis of hydrothermal technique:[Zn(2,2'-bpy)2(H2O)]2[HPMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2](1) [ZnⅡ(2,2'-bpy)2(H2O)]2[HPMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2]·2EtOH(2)[NiⅡ(4,4'-bpy)4][H3PMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2]·EtOH·H2O(3) [CuⅡ(2,2'-bpy) (H2O)]2(H2O)[HPMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2] (4) [NiⅡ (1,10-phen)2(H2O)]2(H2O)[HPMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2] (5) [CrⅢ(1,10-phen)2(H2O)]2[PMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2(OH) ] (6) [CdⅡ(1,10-phen)2]2[HPMo6ⅥMo2Ⅴ4ⅣO40(VIVO)2]·2(C4H9NO)(7) [CuⅠ (2,2'-bpy)2]4[HPMo6ⅤMo6ⅥO40(VⅣO)2] (8) [ZnⅡO0.5(4,4'-bpy)1.5(H2O)2]2[HPMo12ⅥO40]·4H2O(9) [CuⅠ(4,4'-bpy)]4[SiW12ⅥO40]·6H2O(10) [{MnⅡ(1,10-phen)(H2O)}Mn2ⅤO6](11)These compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UV-vis, EPR, TGA and singal crystal X-ray diffraction. The catalytic activities of compounds 3 and 4 have been investigated by the oxidation reaction of benzaldehyde to benzoic acid using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as oxidant, and the effects of catalytic activity have been discussed by the hydroxylation reaction of benzene with hydrogen peroxide under the catalyses of comounds 5 and 10, which possess different composition and structure.
