Seed coating, an advanced technology in the treatment of seeds, has been largely extended in China. Seed dressing agent based on this technology is a formulation of pesticides, of which the suspension form is the most popular.Based on our extensive investigation and available references, in this study carbosulfan and triadinefon were selected to produce a mixture pesticide in the form of seed dressing formulation. A few results have been obtained as follows:1)The product of 6.5% carbosulfan+triadinefon seed dressing agent (SD) was born.. It contains 5% carbosulfan, 1.5% triadinefon, 7.002% micro-fertilizer and growth regulator, 5% film-former , 5% carriers, 5% emulsifier ,2%wetting agents, 5% ethandiol, 0.1% XG, and 0.02% preservative.2) The study on producing technique for the mixture, 6.5% carbosulfan+triadinefon seed dressing agent, showed that the processing should include mixing, wet-crushing, sandblast, recycling, sandblast, modulating, emulsifying, and packing.3) The properties of this product mainly concern viscidity, suspension rate, pH, granularity, film-forming time: viscidity=160-600mpa ? s; suspension rate>90%; pH=7.0-10.0; granularity ≥98%; and film-forming time< 20min.4)The bioassay under laboratory conditions indicated that the controlling efficiency of the mixture was over 70% against Mythima separate Walker both 19d and 22d after wheat seeds inseminated at the 1/50-60 of pesticide/seed (W/W). With the 1/45-60, the controlling value was more than 88% against Puccinia striiformis West 60d after wheat seeds inseminated. The test in wheat fields showed that the controlling efficacy of the product against underground insect pests was 97.3%, 96.03% and 92.84% at the 1/40, 1/50 and 1/60, respectively; and against Blumeria graminis(DC.)Speer was 88.66%, 80.57%and 92.84% at the 1/40, 1/50 and 1/60. Therefore, he 1/40-60 of use dosage was recommended.
