Comman Parts' Customizing System Supporting The Detailed Design And Its Application's Research On Mold Design

Mass Customization is used to offer diverse and individual product for customers on basis of not increasing cost and time. The paper dicusses customization technology of product's development and design, it builds parts' customizing system of injection mold with UG.The paper puts forward customization for designer in the detailed design of product, which expends customization of Mass Customization in conception of product, phases of design, object of customer, it also discusses three customization techniques: standardization, modularization and part family.On basis of analysing process and characteristic of injection mold, using its comman parts as example, it researches customization of comman parts for designer in detailed design of injection mold, it also puts forward its techniques of realization.It puts forward methods and key techniques of realization with UG based on adequate analysis and compare of second-developed methods, it also gives us the software of frame for comman parts.According to project web-based innovative platform and its application in mold field, we build an original system for Zhe Jiang Saihao Industrial Co., Ltd.The comman parts' customizing system can reduce the developing cost of product, shorten the developing cycle, create the basis for the integration of CAD/C AE/CAM.
