Paper tube adhesive is important material in the industry of paper product. It plays a very significant role in development of production and technology. With the development of paper products, the use of paper tube adhesive is gradually expanded. So, it is necessary to explore paper tube adhesive with high addition and high content of technology, particularly, with big market. Recently, some problems exist in paper tube adhesive from market, which are longer solidifying and drying time, lower strength, more pollution to environment and less stability in storage. Therefore, production and research in paper tube adhesive is necessary. The objective of this thesis is to product lower cost, high speed, less pollution to environment, more stable paper tube adhesive in order to satisfy the need of daily expanded market by changing composition and technology.Being the core-shell emulsion polymerization with the IPN structure, a kind of special structure, it has much better function and property than ordinary emulsion polymer even under at same conditions of material and technology and is becoming a new research hot spot. Recently, blend and modifications of polymer have become a productive ways to make polymerizing material, raising more and more people's attention and interest. With the development of people's living standard, environmental protection is getting more and more concerns. In the study, core-shell polymerization with IPN structure was used to improve overall performance andmodifications and blends of polymer was used to reduce cost dramatically. Glyoxal was also used to replace formaldehyde in order to improve overall performance and reduce pollutions. In addition, main materials, producing way and some effects on the biosynthesis of the white emulsion glue were extensively explored. Main material, the amount of material, technological condition and graftor of the starch glue were systematically selected.In the study, we used polyvinyl alcohol-2099 as protective colloid, glyoxal as acetaling material. The mixtures of monomer were vinyl acetate, acrylic amide, butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate. Polymerizing method was core-shell polymerization with IPN structure. It is the best condition when the amount of emulsifier agent at 0.2%-0.4%, the amount of initiator at 0. 4%-O.5%, initial PH value at 8.3-10 in biosynthesis of white adhesive. Main materials for oxidated starch glue were: hydrogen peroxide as oxidant, ferrosulfate as catalyst, borax as crossinglinker. The ratio of the material and the best technological conditions were: hydrogen peroxide(30%) at 6.2%, ferrosulfate at 1.2%, soda-lye at 8.0%, borax at 0.15%, starch at 25%, oxidizational centigrade at 60°C , oxidization time at 90 minutes, pasting centigrade at 90 °C , pasting time at 90 minutes . Graftor was epoxy chloride propane and adhesive was made from white emulsion glue in accordance with the former mentioned material and technology blend with oxidated starch glue by a certain rate which White emulsion glue(weight percent) at 30% and oxidated starch glue (weight percent) at 70%, adding to l%full borax at 0.9% (the weight of ultimate production of White emulsion glue and oxidated starch glue) at 40 °C Initial sticky...
