| In control system, motion control card is used to analyze data from PC and transmit pulse signal to motor driver,which then drives the motor. Nowadays many kinds of general motion control cards cannot meet the needs for special laser processing. Meanwhile, those kinds of motion control cards have to use the motion control function library provided by the venders, it`s difficult for the user to add some special applications or upgrade the system.This thesis introduces the motion control technology and its newest fruit in brief, provides the hardware and software realization method of a kind of motion control card. The card is designed using PCI bus slave mode interface device(PCI9052) ,motion control device(MCX312) and a laser control module(PWM) realized by digitial circuit.The PCI9052 is designed to realize the PCI Bus Specification and can be connected directly to the local target. The MCX312 has all kind of complex motion control function. All those features make for high performance and efficiency. Based on Windows98 OS, a VxD driver program is provided as well as a group of function test program, which can be used to do some function verification on a certain hardware platform. This motion control card meets the request of laser processing to some extent, which has been confirmed in our laser etching system. At the same time, it can be used as general motion control card. |
