With rapid development of rubber and plastic industry as well as other polymer material industry, the internal mixer is playing a greater and greater role in polymer material production, and there is a higher and higher requirement for the performance of the internal mixer. Kinds of new-style internal mixer come forth, the synchronous rotor internal mixer is one of internal mixer. The synchronous rotor internal mixer is far better than asynchronous rotor internal mixer. But not only synchronous rotor internal mixer but also other's asynchronous rotor internal mixer are batch mixer, i.e. feeding is batch, and dumping is batch, it don't make full use of energy, and there are many difference among quality of rubber compound. Therefore, people put forward a new conception of continuous mixing, and designed a series of continuous mixing equipment, the application of these devices make possibility of continuous production come true, improve productivity and quality of rubber compound. But, present continuous mixing equipment have a disadvantage that don't mix massive and poor flowability material, need equip special palletizing equipment, so restrict application of present continuous equipments. To resolve this problem, we put forward a new-style continuous mixer, it can mix massive and high treacliness material, the operating principle is, mixing part adopt improved synchronous rotor internal mixer, and dumping part adopt extruder, then the new-style continuous mixer will achieve batch feeding and continuous dumping in one equipment.The Mixer Research Team of Qingdao University of Science & Technology has engaged in reaching mixing technology for many years. They have acquired a lot of harvests. Especially, they blazed a way in the field of synchronous rotor internal mixer technology. This task is sub-item in item of National Natural Science Foundation of China.
