The Study On Coaxiality Testing Instrument

In mechanical industry, high precise coaxiality test of large mechanical components was considered as a complicated problem, because it was very difficult to find a datum line with high precise in long distance. Although the high precise demand could be achieved by using laser-collimated instruments, the scopes of laser-collimated instruments were narrowed by their expensive cost. To solve these problems in high precise coaxiality test, the research in this thesis was acquired.In this thesis, international and domestic developments in coaxiality testing for two axes in long distance were analyzed and summarized. Furthermore, on the basis of studies, which were mainly in measure principles and existing coaxiality instruments, an innovative method of coaxiality test was proposed.The measuring framework was used as public testing datum line of relative displacement and angle. Angular displacement sensor and linear displacement transducer were also utilized to give useful information. The measuring system was composed of testing framework, data acquisition module and man-machine interaction module.The main producing processes of coaxiality testing instrument, including the concept proposition, instrumental implement, problems and their solutions, were amply described.Main investigations of this thesis were as follow.1) Structural design for testing framework.2) Theoretical analysis of measuring principles.3) Selection and application of gating linear displacement sensors.4) Selection and application of angular sensors.5) Software and hardware design of data acquisition module.At the end of the thesis, drawbacks and perspective works for this research were also summarized.
