At the beginning of this paper, the definition of clothing comfort was inducted, then the basic theories about the heat and water vapor transport, the path of transmission, wetting proper.ty of the fiber material and wicking theories of the fabric were introduced. And from the physiology angle, the influnence of fiber materials on heat-moisture comfortability of clothing was analyzed.Several new-types of regenerated cellulose fibers have good processability and wear-comfort, such as Tencel, Modal, Viloft and bamboo fiber etc. They are suited for comfortable products, such as underwear, sportswear, etc. But, as regard to the heat-moisture comfortability of the knitted products, people still lack the complete understanding. Therefore, it is so necessary to make a research on it. Based on the knowledge of the spinning process and properties of these new kinds of regenerated cellulose fibers, we proceeded to the observation of their morphological structure, and provided the fundamental basis for launching of the thesis. This paper's core part is the testing and analyzing of the heat-moisture comfortability of the ten kinds of cellulose fiber knitted fabrics. The property items involved are heat conductivity, cold sensitive property, heat-insulating ability, water vapor permeability, wetting property, wick ability and air permeability. The fiber materials include Tencel, Modal, Viloft, bamboo fiber, viscose and cotton fiber. During the testing process, sweat case and non-sweat case were simulated. Through comparing and analyzing, the connection between fabric's heat-moisture comfortability and fiber material's properties and construction were completely known. Finally, adapting the gray cluster analysis, a brief evaluation had been made which included heat, moisture and comfort properties of different kinds of underwear fabrics in different air temperature conditions.
