Study On The Wetland Dynamic Change And Benefit Valuation Of Kaifeng Based On GIS

This paper applies RS and GIS technology to the study on the dynamic change ofthe Kaifeng wetland. On the basis of it, the author valued the benefit of the wetland in1987 and 2002 linking up with other data, and tried to apply the result of the imageanalysis to the valuation. Then it analyses the influence of the change of the wetlandupon the value. The thesis is discussed from the following parts: Part 1:Preface.It briefly reviews the study background of the wetland and thebenefit of wetland in home and overseas, and introduces the general situation of thestudy area, the purpose and significance of this research, and the content and the frame. Part 2: It narrates the data and the technological route of the study on the dynamicchange of the wetland. Part 3: It's the first central part of the thesis. It introduces the basic theory of theimage classification and then specifies the whole process of the image classification ofthe Kaifeng wetland. Based on this, it uses the results of image classification andanalyses the dynamic change of Kaifeng wetland in 1987 and 2002. And it concludesthe general condition of the dynamic change of Kaifeng in recent ten years. Part 4: It's the second central part of the thesis. It briefly introduces the concept ofthe wetland benefit and the theory of the valuation. Then based on the third part itcontacts with other statistic and economic data, and values the wetland benefit ofKaifeng in 1987 and 2002. It also analyses the structure of the wetland benefit at length. Part 5: It is the conclusion and discussion. Based on the third and the forth parts, itanalyses the impact of the dynamic change of wetland on the benefit, and suggests theways to improve the benefit of the Kaifeng wetland. At the same time, it discusses somequestions in the study. The results showed that, (1)From 1987 to 2002, the total area of the Kaifengwetland changed form 9461.27 hm2 to 9726.68 hm2, increasing by 2.8%. But the area ofthe natural wetland changed from 3367.52 hm2 to 1589.28 hm2, reducing by 52.81%.And the area of man-made wetland changed from 6093.75 hm2 to 8137.4 hm2,increasing by 33.54%. The total area of the wetland was increased, but the area of thenatural wetland was acutely reduced. (2) The total values the Kaifeng wetland was332953.3 thousand yuan. Compared to the valuation in 1987, it was mostly increased inthe direct use values. The indirect use values didn't change greatly, but in particular thevalues of the natural wetland was reduced smartly.(3)The changes of the wetland totalvalues aren't only decided by the evolvement of the wetland, and it are related toman-made factors. But the evolvement of the wetland directly impacts on the wetlandvalues. Hence, it is the chief of the exploiture of the Kaifeng wetland to protect theexisting wetland and avoid the degeneration.
