Volatile Organic Compounds is another kind of contamination junior to particles ,they are hard to control especially for waste gases borne with low concentration VOCs. Biotreatment of air-borne contaminants offer an alternative to conventional air treatment technologies. Because of its advantages, such as simple equipment , low investments and operational spending and no secondary-pollution.Four biofilters packed respectively with No 1 ceramic pellets, No 2 ceramic pellets, rasching rings and the activated carbon . Benzene, toluene and xylene were the wast-gas, used bilfilter treatment BTX . Inoculated with benzene, toluene and xylene biodegraded bacteria which was screening by incubator shaker experiment ,the reactor's purifying performances were investigated , the influence of entrance consistency to purifying, the pressure drop, and the correlation of benzene, toluene and xylene. The results of biofiltration experiments show that volume removal loading of biofilters are increased along with the volume loadings , the higher of entry volume loading the farer of 100% removal line. The lower empty bed contract time is, the worse the reactors' performance is. The biofiltration degradation efficiency has good results in compound of low benzene, toluene and xylene concentration and medium benzene, toluene and xylene concentration. The filter packed with actived carbon gain a better performance and a higher pressure drop, the rasching rings gain a worse performance, a higher entrance consistency gain a worse purifying. No 2 ceramic pellets capability of velum The biofiltration degradation efficiency has good results in low compound of benzene, toluene and xylene concentration and medium compound of benzene, toluene and xylene concentration. But to higher concentration the results are not as good as the lower ones and medium ones.
