In this thesis, polyvinyl chloride / montmorillonite nancomposites were perpetrated in three kinds of strategies. In the course of experiment, the perpetration of organic montmorillonite (OMMT) and the molding of composite were organic integrated. Polyvinyl chloride / montmorillonite nancomposites were perpetrated successfully.During the prcess of experiment, the first method was that montmorillonite was treated by CATB ion exchanged, and then was perpetrated composite with polyvinyl chloride together. The second method was that the modified montmorillonite with KH-570 absorbed Acrylamide (AM) monomer and high temperature intiator, then melting mixed with polyvinyl chloride. In the course of molding monomers polymerize. The third method was that the organic montmorillonte (OMMT) was showered by butylacrylate (BA) and methyl methacrylate (MMA) mixed with low temperature intiator. While the montmorillonites was drying, the monomer polymerized. Finally the montmorillonites were melting mixed with polyvinyl chloride to perpetrate nancomposites.XRD and TEM were employed to investigate the intercalate effect. The results showed nancomposites could be perpetrated in the three strategies.The mechanical properties of the obtained nancomposites were also test, which showed the third one have a much improvement.
