Abstract/Summary:
This paper contacts practice in the mining area of Xinjiang Urumchi. It mostly study on the content of the relationship between support and surrounding rock in longwall top-coal caving mining of steep seam by using field observation, theory calculation, similar and numerical simulation. The paper researches into the law of the strata behavior in working face, the structure form of cover layers, top-coal caving characteristic, reasonable structure of support in longwall top-coal caving mining of steep seam, and has obtained some research results. By field observation in working face, the ground behavior and the law of longwall top-coal caving mining of steep seam is revealed. Arch of spanning strata are formed above the working face and residues coal and rock of horizontal section top-coal caving in steep seam. This is different from the structure of voussoir beam in gently inclined seam. The paper further researches into the law of cover layers behavior in longwall top-coal caving mining of steep seam by basic theory of granular mechanics, elasticity mechanics and computer numerical simulation。 In order to further study steep seam comprehensive to set free and exploit the relationship between support and surrounding rock, and disclose to the role in mechanics field of the top-coal, the paper has analyzed in the steep seam characteristic and mechanics peculiarity of fragmentation top-coal and combines similar simulation experiment to put forward in coal seam that the obliquity is bigger coal seam, should improve the height of subsection properly . According to the analysis of terrane structure and top-coal caving characteristic, the relationship between support and surrounding rock system has been drew a concluded in the integration drop top-coal of steep seam. The caving powered support in steep seam has two kinds of working states: the support is a working state of the " given load " and the " critical load ", and give the method of ensuring reasonable support resistance. Combining the understanding to the relationship between support and surrounding rock in longwall top-coal caving mining of steep seam, the paper has analyzed and researched into adaptability of light single wobbling pole caving supports that they have more applied to longwall top-coal caving mining of steep seam. It is much meaning to improve and optimize the type of support and the suited equipments, and increase reliability of caving powered support.
