| BL-formaldehyde absorptive independently developed by BeijingForestry University can be made use of to produce environment-friendly plywood with low formaldehyde emission. This research focuses on the development of BL-formaldehyde absorptive, its effect to formaldehyde emission of plywood, and its mechanism and proper method of application. Its main purpose is to reduce formaldehyde emission of plywood and avoid debasing bonding strength. Partner UF resin and optimized technics and parameter will be found through experiments.The results show that: (1) BL-formaldehyde absorptive can effectively reduce the formaldehyde emission from plywood, generally over 50 percent of formaldehyde will be eliminated. Further more, the more BL-formaldehyde absorptive is mixed in UF resin, the less formaldehyde is emitted. (2) Both formaldehyde emission and bonding strength will be satisfying when optimized technics and parameter are realized. (3) The formaldehyde emission of the plywood made of veneers soaked by BL-formaldehyde absorptive can accord with the E0 class standard, and the bonding strength can be assured at the same time. |
