| Preparation of benzoic acid by oxidization of toluene is an important organic reaction, and it is also the pivotal step in the production of caprolactam from toluene in SNIA technology. Dynamic simulation to above mentioned reaction unit, have a certain theory value, and also have important actual significance.Based on studied question, we thoroughly studied existing production about chemical process flow simulation methods, solve methods for dynamical mathematics modeling, benzoic acid preparation technology, development of toluene oxidization method, etc. All of above works let us study the question go on wheels.According to features of toluene oxidization reaction unit, and based on existing kinetic information, we make a dynamic mathematic model, including toluene oxidization reactor, pre-heater for raw material, exchanger for reactor and separator for gas and liquid. We developed the model using time-space step disperse method. The simulation results showed that the modeling can accurately reflect the action of reaction unit during start-up and stop. The error for steady-state simulation is within 5%.Using the model, we studied the rule of react result influenced by reaction temperature, toluene/air ratio and toluene feed-in quantities. The studied make a base for improve and optimize production andexert reactor potential. |
